Emergency Room
The highly qualified medical team of registered nurses, LVNs, and mid-level providers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet your emergency medical needs. The new fully equipped treatment, trauma and observation rooms can accommodate a wide range of emergencies. RCHD provides you with an initial evaluation, stabilization, treatment, diagnostic capabilities and transfer to a higher level of care when necessary. When it comes to compassionate care, nobody knows it better than the nursing team at RCHD. Knowledge and dedication to providing excellent care is what you will receive from Rankin County Hospital District.

Imaging Services
RCHD Imaging services were designed with the patient in mind. Not only does the department offer a comprehensive array of diagnostic imaging services, it works around your busy schedule by providing 24/7 service. We understand that if you or your loved one requires diagnostic testing, you prefer that it be done as soon as possible. With this being said, the department offers same-day results, including extended weekday and weekend hours. Additionally, all of our imaging procedures use advanced imaging technology subjected to stringent regulatory standards.

The RCHD Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department is determined to provide the highest quality PT services for both inpatients and outpatients alike. Not only are our PT services utilized by the residents of Upton County, they're utilized by patients from all over West Texas. We are dedicated to giving our patients and their loved ones the care, education, and empathy needed to attain the highest quality of life possible.

Wellness Center
Our state of the art wellness center strives to serve members at every fitness level. Whether you're aiming to lose weight, or keeping up your current fitness level, the RCHD Wellness Center has you covered.
Our salt water swimming Pool is 40 ft by 20 ft, 4 feet deep, heated to 88 degrees, and open to members and Physical Therapy patients as needed. The new 9,791 square foot Wellness Center facility is equipped with recumbent bikes, upright bikes, ellipticals, treadmills, rowing machines, as well as other specialized workout equipment. There are circuit weight machines, free weights, a functional trainer and much more! You can jump rope or use the training balls, bench press or walk. Join or start a class for group fun and fitness! The multi-purpose room is available for classes and it may be used when classes are not scheduled. You’ll have smart TV access for exercises or you-tube videos and you are welcomed to bring in your own dvd’s.

Our fully equipped, COLA accredited laboratory operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for emergency services. Non-emergency lab work can be done Monday- Friday, 8AM- 5PM. Our consistent, highly dependable testing, is always conducted in a convenient and timely manner.

Swing Bed Services/Inpatient Care
At RCHD, we take great pride in the exceptional Swing Bed and Inpatient Care our reputation is built upon. Whether our staff is monitoring a concussed patient, or providing rehabilitation services after joint replacement surgery, the same quality of care and comfort will be present. Our goal is to pave a smooth and compassionate road to recovery for each and every patient.

Cardiac rehabilitation
Cardiac rehabilitation is a medically supervised program designed to improve your heart health after heart problems or surgery. It can take place at an outpatient clinic or in a hospital rehab center. You don’t have to face heart disease alone. Cardiac rehab is a team effort that may include doctors, nurses, exercise specialists, dietitians, nutritionists and others. Their goal is to help you make lifestyle choices to improve your heart health. Ask your doctor if you’re eligible for a cardiac rehab program. If you are, ask for a referral in your area.

RCHD Pharmacy is a full service retail pharmacy serving Rankin and the surrounding communities. We accept most major insurances and fill prescriptions from providers both in Rankin and beyond. Most prescriptions are filled and available for same day pickup. We also offer a selection of over the counter items to meet the community’s needs, and can special order many over the counter items for next day delivery upon patient request. Our pharmacist also offers medication counseling with all new prescriptions and medication profile reviews upon request. We are open from 8 am to 5 pm for your convenience.

The providers at RCHD along with licensed staff provide the most advanced techniques (including BOTOX, microdermabrasion, micro channeling, chemical peels, and professional skin care) to help patients realize their goals. After a thorough analysis of the patient’s skin, we will develop the most beneficial course of therapy. It is of the utmost importance at RCHD that we educate our patients on the entire skin care process, the potential side effects, and the expected outcomes following every procedure. Employee Dining
RCHD food service operation is located on 1611 Spur 576 within the hospital. Every day RCHD produces an average of 25-30 meals for patient and employee dining operations. RCHD sources Affiliated Foods and Sysco Food Services for most all groceries needed to prepare meals. RCHD all uses our local grocery store Rankin Drive In, to supplement between deliveries.
RCHD holds to strict food quality and sanitation standards. All RCHD food service personnel must also pass training on food preparation methods, safety and sanitation, and on hospital food service issues such as special diets for patients.
Patient Meal Services
As part of admission to RCHD, every patient receives a doctor’s order for what type of diet he or she should be eating. A "regular" diet means that there are no diet restrictions for health reasons. Patients on regular diets can select their own choices from RCHD’s daily menu. Menu items are chosen by our Dietary Supervisor with the guidance of our dietitian to ensure a variety of healthy foods to suit popular tastes.

RCHD consults a registered dietitian to deliver dietary counseling, assessment, and education to all of our inpatients. Meals are prepared using fresh, high-quality ingredients and are individualized to the patient's needs.
Housekeeping/Maintenance
For the wellbeing of our patients, visitors, and staff, a safe and sanitary facility is of the utmost importance. Both our housekeeping, and grounds crews do an exceptional job maintaining, repairing, cleaning, and providing a pleasant atmosphere throughout Rankin County Hospital District.
